I wonder whether creative people are here to tell our stories so we can find out what they mean. The vulnerability that demands, especially for those of us from marginalized groups, can make that a terrifying act. But it’s also the only way that some of us can become whole. I’ve been trying all my life to speak into that fear, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get there, but even if it takes me a lifetime, I can think of any other struggle I’d rather undertake. Thank you for writing this review.

Thank you so much for reading and sharing your thoughts Miguel!

You named the fear so perfectly. It is so scary to step into that vulnerability, to publicly grapple with what it means to be marginalized; write through all of this. But I also believe it helps makes us whole, and I am so happy so many of us are choosing to be fearless.
