Comrade faces eviction

A comrade in my community is facing eviction. Their landlord gave them just 14 days to leave their apartment, and they are trying to raise $10,000.

As a freelance carpenter, I’ve worked hard to stay afloat as 2023 was my first full time freelance year. Now in 2025, I have a robust client list and am currently working towards my union card.

Over the 7 years that I have been in this apartment, I have and continue to support other members of my community by housing them or providing other means of support and now I am the person in critical need of support. I’ve stretched every dollar and kept pushing forward but navigating these challenges for nearly two years has taken its toll. I'm asking for support in covering in back rent and house hold essentials.
